Abstract

يهتمّ الفيلسوف الإنجليزي جوزيف أرنولد توينبي بمجالات بحث مختلفة، من بينها مجال الدّين والحضارة وهو ميدان له صلة مباشرة بمشكلة المجتمعات المعاصرة، وما يطرحه العلم من تحديات وصعوبات تواجهها الحياة الإنسانية في ظل التطورات التي عرفتها، ويعدّ المؤرخ توينبي أحد أهم الباحثين في هذا المجال، وفي هذه الرسالة نحاول التعرف على أهم النتائج التي وصل إليها بداية بالمفهوم الذي قدمه للحضارة، ثم ننظر في الأسباب التي دفعته للاعتراض على مركزية الحضارة ومساهمة الدين كمناعة اجتماعية في رقيها ومانع يحول بين البشرية وبين تدمير نفسها، ودور التحدي والاستجابة في ظهورها وزوالها.The English philosopher Josef Arnold Toynbee has been interested in various fields of Religion and civilization the field that is directly related to the problem of values in contemporary societies and the challenges and difficulties facing human life in light of developments that is has know . The Historian Toynbee is considered one of the most important researched in this field, and in this article we try to identify the most important results that he reached at the beginning with the concept he presented to civilization, then we look at the reasons that led him to object to the centrality of civilization and the contribution of religion as a social immunity in its advancement and a barrier that prevents humanity from destroying itself, and the role of challenge and response in its emergence and demise.

Le philosophe anglais Josef Arnold Toynbee s’intéresse à divers domaines de recherche dont le demaine du temps et de civilisation qui est un demain directement lie a la problématique des sociétés contemporaines. La science pose des défis et des difficultés à la vie humaine et la lumière des développements qui l’historien Toynbee est l’un des chercheurs les plus importants dans ce domaine et dans cette letter nous essayons de connaitre les resultas les plus important auxquels il les parvenu en commencant par le concept qu’il à presenter à la civilization puis nous examinons dans les raisons qui l’ont conduit à s’opposer à la centralité de la civilisation et à l’apport de la religion comme immunité social dans son avancement et une barrière qui empêche l’humanité de se détruire et le rôle de défi et de réponse dans son émergence et sa disparition.
