APROXIMACIÓN HISTORIOGRÁFICA ESPAÑOLA EN TORNO A LAS PLAZAS DE ORÁN Y MAZALQUIVIR (XVI AL XX)

Abstract

Nuestro proyecto de investigación se refiere a un periodo de cinco siglos, muy diferentes, de las plazas de Orán y Mazalquivir (XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, XX), bajo condicionantes y contextos muy diversos, incluso dentro de un mismo siglo; habría que matizar muy bien entre unas épocas y otras, pues la producción historiográfica de cada momento es resultado de unas circunstancias históricas, mentales, religiosas, espirituales, sociopolíticas, económicas, militares e ideológicas propias y características. Nuestra tesis focaliza tres ángulos concluyentes: primero, examinamos una aproximación historiográfica francesa, una buena parte ha sido hecha durante el periodo colonial francés en Argelia (1830-1962). Segundo, es hacer una sucinta valoración del contenido de la historiografía argelina, poniendo de relieve el retorno a las fuentes locales. Tercero, como parte central, tratamos de analizar y valorar la producción historiográfica española tanto moderna como reciente en torno a Orán y Mazalquivir. Del mismo modo, revisamos algunas importantes monografías que resumen la presencia española en la franja litoral magrebí. Como punto final, veremos una nueva generación de historiadores que han comenzado a levantar el velo en este periodo de la historia de Argelia. Su análisis se basa en criterios científicos centrados esencialmente en fuentes manuscritas conservadas en sus fondos de archivos.Our research project refers to a period of five very different centuries of the squares of Orán and Mazalquivir (XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, XX), under very different conditions and contexts, even within the same century, it would be necessary to clarify very well between one epoch and another, since the historiographic production of each moment is the result of historical, mental, religious, spiritual, sociopolitical, economic, military, ideological circumstances of its own and characteristics. As a final point, we will see a new generation of historians who have begun to lift the veil in this period of Algerian history.
