L’écriture théâtrale entre le comique et le tragique Dans l’oeuvre théâtrale de Slimane Benaissa

Abstract

L’œuvre théâtrale de Slimane Benaissa, écrite en français, traite d’évènements tragiques, tels que la guerre, le terrorisme, la violence physique et morale, la séparation, etc. sous un ton comique. Il existe aussi des textes comiques mais parsemés de tragique. Ce qui caractérise son écriture, c’est la contiguïté du comique et du tragique dans un même texte. Il ne s’agit pas d’un mélange du comique et du tragique comme des concepts génériques bien définis, mais il s’agit d’une exploitation de l’élasticité d’un comique capable d’envahir d’autres territoires qui ne lui sont pas associés. L’objectif de cette thèse est de démontrer que le comique ne sert pas à dédramatiser une situation macabre, mais il permet de mettre la lumière sur la tragédie en Algérie. Le tragique que montre le dramaturge, est un tragique quotidien, que l’on vit, ressent chaque jour. Il n’y a pas de grandes actions, mais de simples évènements. Benaissa veut rendre compte de l’origine de ce tragique, des malheurs ayant pour source l’homme lui-même. On voit dans ce dernier son côté inhumain. Enfermé dans son idéal, il donne raison à son inhumanité. Le questionnement du comique et du tragique permet de mettre en relief les différentes configurations spatiales et les formations discursives caractérisant le fonctionnement de son œuvre. Slimane Benaissa's theatrical work, written in French, deals with tragic events, such as war, terrorism, physical and moral violence, separation, etc. in a comical tone. There are also comic texts, but dotted with tragedy. What characterizes his writing is the contiguity of the comic and the tragic in the same text. It is not a mixture of the comic and the tragic as well-defined generic concepts, but it is an exploitation of the elasticity of a comic capable of invading other territories which are not associated. The objective of this thesis is to demonstrate that the comic is not used to play down a macabre situation, but it allows to shed light on the tragedy in Algeria. The tragedy that the playwright shows is a daily tragedy that we experience, feel every day. There are no big actions, but simple events. Benaissa wants to give an account of the origin of this tragedy, of the misfortunes having for source man himself. We see in the latter his inhuman side. Locked in his ideal, he gives reason to his inhumanity. The questioning of the comic and the tragic makes it possible to highlight the different spatial configurations and the discursive formations characterizing the functioning of his work. يعالج عمل سليمان بن عيسى المسرحي المدون باللغة الفرنسية احداثا مأساوية مثل الحرب والإرهاب والعنف الجسدي والمعنوي وغيرها بطريقة فكاهية. كما نجد أيضا بعض النصوص الفكاهية ذات طابع مأساوي. ويعد التجاور بين الفكاهة و الماسات اهم ميزات اعماله. اذ لا يمثل هذا المزيج مفهومين عامين محددين بل هو عبارة عن استغلال مرونة الفكاهة التي بوسعها اجتياح ميادين اخري لا تقربها. يصبو هدف هذه الاطروحة الي اثبات ان الفكاهة لا تسعي الي تهوين وضع مروع بل ترمي الي تسليط الضوء علي الماسات في الجزائر. و تعد الماسات المتجلية في اعمال الكاتب المسرحي تلك المتعلقة بالحياة اليومية. فنلاحظ ان الطابع المسيطر علي اعماله لا يتسم بأفعال جسيمة بل بأحداث بسيطة. يسعي الكاتب بن عيسي الي ابراز أصول فن الماسات هذا و كذا الاحزان التي يسببها الانسان لنفسه. و من هذا يتجلى جانبه غير الإنساني كونه منغلقا في عالمه المثالي في تأييده لعدم انسانيته. و يسمح تساؤل الفكاهة و الماسات بإظهار الاشكال المكانية و التكوينات الاستطرادية التي تميز عمله.
