Abstract in English: The rehabilitation of the human sciences constitutes the project that Hans-Georg Gadamer instituted by substituting the concept of method with that of human experience in its totality, rooted in philosophy, art, history, and language, and by seeking to shed light on an experience of truth that precedes all methodological reflection, in addition to attending to the event represented by the process of understanding, which occurs outside our wills; rather, it is closer to being a disclosure and an encounter that takes place in a dialogue between the interpreter and the object of experience. For the attempt to align with the results of science and its methods, and to search for epistemological and scientific values in the human sciences, has cost them nothing but a considerable regression and delay in comparison with the exact sciences. What Gadamer insists upon is that the human sciences do not seek the “conditions of possibility” epistemologically; rather, they “bring about possibility” hermeneutically by removing the absolute character from the claim to truth and affirming its relativity, drawing procedural tools to aid in this from Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Wilhelm Dilthey, Edmund Husserl, and his teacher Martin Heidegger, within an Aristotelian hermeneutic orientation through practical philosophy, employing it in models we have chosen: political science, sociology, ethics, and others… Keywords: Gadamer, hermeneutics, interpretation, experience, human sciences, understanding, truth, tradition, history, art, language, practical philosophy.en_US
