To achieve these objectives, the study adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology. The sample consisted of 160 European call options on the stocks of seven major global technology companies. The data was collected on a single specified date December 19, 2024 with varying maturities of up to 279 days. The main analytical tool used was the Python programming language, which was employed to implement the three models and generate the theoretical prices for each option. The results of the empirical analysis revealed a clear divergence in model performance. The neural network model demonstrated the highest level of accuracy and the strongest ability to fit benchmark prices, owing to its flexibility in capturing complex nonlinear relationships. However, its "black-box" nature limits its interpretability. The Heston model ranked second, offering an excellent balance between the accuracy provided by its stochastic volatility framework and its solid and interpretable financial theoretical foundation. In contrast, the Black-Scholes model yielded the least accurate performance, thereby highlighting the inadequacy of its simplified assumptions in capturing real market dynamics, especially in a volatile sector such as technology. Based on these findings, the study put forward several recommendations. Chief among them was the call for investors to avoid reliance on a single model and to instead adopt hybrid approaches that combine the accuracy of neural networks with the theoretical rigor of models like Heston. Additionally, the study emphasized the importance of prioritizing interpretable models in risk management applications and suggested that future researchers expand the scope of analysis to cover different time periods and financial assets, with a focus on testing the hedging efficiency of models rather than limiting evaluation to pricing accuracy alone.
