Contemporary American Orientalism is one of the most prominent Orientalist schools that has become a major contributor to the West-East-Islamic relations at present. Through the American Orientalist literature, the conflict has intensified in the Middle East or within America itself. Not just an economic or ideological conflict, as Huntington and Bernard Lewis emphasized. All this was the result of the negative stereotypical portrayal of American writings on the Arab and Islamic East since the end of the Second World War - albeit historically dating back to the end of the eighth century X - as the "other" unconventional, traditional, violent, and terrorist, trying to destroy the civilization of the American West and its achievementsen_US
