Die Übersetzung eines algerischen Romans

Abstract

The present Dissertation is particularly interested in the translation of Algerian literature from French to German since 1956 to the present day. The empirical part deals with the reception of novels by German readers and the echoes, comments, criticisms of the literature specialists especially concerning with Algerian authors like Yasmina Khadra and Assia Djebar. Furthermore, an exhaustive review of Algerian works translated into German, more that the perspectives importance highlighted in the second part of the empirical section. Finally, part of the work is dedicated to the comparison of the training of translators with the countries as Arabic speakers like Morocco and Egypt.
