Résumé: Abstract The objectives of the research concerns the analysis of the English language used in the business e-mail messages written by non-native business people regarding style of writing, and common grammatical mistakes . The subject of the study examines fifty sample business e-mail messages written in the English language by Algerian business people. This simple work is divided into four chapters as follows: Chapter one deals with the importance of English language as an international language and as a lingua franca, with a specific emphasis is put on ESP, its characteristics and origins. Then, it describes the tolls of analysis used for this study. Chapter two is devoted to the importance of business English communication. Chapter three is an interpretation of the questionnaire and the analysis of the authentic materials i:e the emails collected from Maersk Line company . Chapter four is an attempt to bring some solution to the problems identified and recommended some suggestions in order to have more efficient business people in the future.
