Résumé: In the recent decades, the High Plains steppe in Algeria was marked by intense degradation of the soils, due to several factors such as flooding. The proposed solutions to fight against these phenomena and conserve nature of these areas remain weak due to the absence of a model for identifying, monitoring and forecasting of floods. The use of multi-date satellite imagery allows deriving dynamic flood and erosion risk maps for geographically follow the risk hazard to explore practically the possibilities of mitigating these risks. However, the parameters define these natural phenomena can change over time, the idea of this research is based on the spatiotemporal monitoring of these variations and their effects on the risk change. The integration of spatial and cartographic data in a SIG will be allowed to establish a predictive model for the protection of the urban environment and anticipate the intervention of local authorities.
