Abstract: This thesis explores the discursive and dialogical dimensions in the work of Amélie Nothomb through the analysis of five emblematic novels: The Prince's Fact, The Winter's Journey, A Form of Life, Bluebeard and The Crime of Count Neville. She endeavors to study how the author implements a discursive polyphony, by combining the voices of the 3 characters, the narrator and the intertext, to offer rich reflections on contemporary themes such as identity, solitude, power and the quest for truth. The theoretical framework of this research is mainly based on the concept of dialogism developed by Mikhail Bakhtin, which highlights the interaction between the different discourses within the texts, as well as their relationship with the cultural and social context in which they register. The selected novels, although varied in their plot and style, share a marked reliance on subtle dialogue and symbolic exchanges, which reveals a complex narrative architecture and often ironic or critical discourse. The study also examines how Amélie Nothomb reinvents classic myths and motifs – such as that of Bluebeard or the initiatory journey – to anchor them in modern issues, while questioning the reader's expectations. In addition, the work highlights the narrative processes specific to the author, such as “mise en abyme”, the use of ambivalent narrators and the humorous shift, which contribute to the singularity of her work. In conclusion, this research shows that Amélie Nothomb constructs a dialogic space where discourses come into tension to question established norms, while proposing an original reflection on the role of literature in a world marked by uncertainty and the diversity of perspectives.
